Principal

Canon is a seasoned real estate investor, environmental engineer, and outdoor enthusiast based in Colorado. With a passion for both adventure and entrepreneurship, He has built a diverse portfolio of successful ventures that reflect his dedication to excellence and innovation. As the owner of 11 rental properties and having completed several successful flips, Canon brings a wealth of experience and insight to the world of real estate investment. His keen eye for opportunity, coupled with a strategic approach to property management, has enabled him to achieve significant growth and success in the competitive real estate market.

Canon holds a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from Colorado State University, where he honed his analytical skills and deepened his understanding of sustainable development practices. This educational foundation informs his approach to real estate investment, as he strives to incorporate environmentally conscious principles into his projects whenever possible. Prior to diving into real estate full-time, Canon gained valuable experience working for a prominent land development firm, where he was involved in various aspects of project planning, design, and execution. This experience provided him with invaluable insights into the intricacies of land development and further fueled his passion for real estate investment.

When he's not busy managing properties or crafting investment strategies, you can find Canon exploring the great outdoors of Colorado. Whether he's backcountry skiing, hiking, or mountain biking, he thrives on the adrenaline rush of adventure and the serenity of nature that Colorado has to offer.

Eric Nelson

Key Partner

Eric Nelson is from southwest Colorado and received a degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University. He is the principal of Wild Oak Capital and is actively syndicating multifamily properties. He has been investing in real estate for over 10 years, and currently has over 650 units under management, with a team or with his wife. As a former owner of a successful engineering company in Colorado, Eric brings management skills, and excels at underwriting, project management, investor communication and property inspections.

Eric is also the host of The Real Estate Mindset podcast, where he discusses with industry leaders what it takes to be a successful investor based on continuous personal and professional growth. Eric and his wife Marie have two young boys and love to spend time outdoors at their home in Durango Colorado.
